Paraty day 2

I decided yesterday that I would start today with a run, there is a great path here and I was itching to get out on it. I headed out at 7, it was warm but not too bad, surprisingly I ran quite fast and although I died in the last km, it felt good and I really enjoyed it!! Such a pretty spot to run!

Another lovely breakfast this morning, again more cake, can't believe they eat cake for breakfast here!!

It was even warmer today so we pretty much did the same as yesterday ensuring we put on extra sunscreen for our walk.

We discovered a few spots we had not seen yesterday and enjoyed again wandering the old town.

We took a walk to the beach but no swimming as we did not have our bathers on and it is a bit too far from the accommodation to swim and then walk back.

We had some beers by the beach which were super cold and really enjoyed that! The breeze off the water was lovely!!

We spent the arvo planning our itinerary for Rio as we head there tomorrow.

For dinner and drinks we went to the old town again but this time chose a nice steak restaurant and were super happy with our choice, we even had dessert!!

A quiet lazy day, but very enjoyable!!

Excitement is building for Rio! We can't wait!!!
