We have had such a nice time in Paraty and this morning enjoyed another lovely breakfast.
Our bus to Rio was at 10:50am, we walked to the station and left right on time.
The bus trip was through lots of windy roads but beautiful views of the Brazilian coast line made the ride worthwhile.
We had a mid way stop but arrived into Rio at 3:30pm. We had decided to catch the bus to the apartment and it took just over an hour, traffic in Rio is crazy!!
On the way we passed sugar loaf mountain bathed in sunlight and then along copacabana beach, amazing!!! We pinched ourselves that we were here.
We arrived at our apartment around 4:45pm and met our airbnb guy, Jose! He was great and the apartment is fab!
After checking we went for beer and then some dinner at a lovely restaurant that served Amazonian food! It was fab.
We had a pretty early night, after getting some groceries for breakfast the next day.
Rio has a great feel and we are super excited to be here!!!!
