Off to Argentina we go....

After a night listening to a chorus of dogs (yes, Argentina has loads of stray dogs) we woke early in preparation to catch our. Is to Mendoza.

We had booked our bus online, so after breakfast made by our delightful host, we hopped in a taxi and headed to the statio.

Our bus was pretty much right on time, turning up at 8, bags thrown on and off we go!

The standard of the bus was decent, not to crowded and we felt pretty content that this would be our transport for the next 8 or so hours.

We had heard the trip across the Andes was pretty spectacular and wow, that is definitely true!! The mountain landscape is just amazing.

We weaved up the mountain side, turning hairpin bends and fearing for our lives as the bus clung to the side of the cliff.

Once up top, we had made it half way and it was time to stop for boarder control. This took around 1.5 hours, which all in all was pretty good! We got to stretch our legs and take some photos.

The rest of the journey was just as beautiful and before we knew it we arrived in Mendoza around 30 mins late, not bad at all!

We changed some money and then headed to our hotel via taxi, after check in we freshened up and took a walk before hitting some bars for a few beers and dinner.

Mendoza is a bustling city to say the least, bars heaving with locals and happy hour that lasts all night.

For us, it was not long before bed was calling our names so we retired for the evening in preparation for tomorrow, which includes a planned run for me!!
