A day that lasted longer than 24 hours!!

Well the day finally arrived, time to head off on our trip to South America!!

Our flight was via Sydney so we had to fly domestic to Sydney and the transfer to international. We left home at 5:45am to make our 8am flight, all went well and next thing you knew we were in Sydney enjoying a Heineken!!

We had over 3 hrs in Sydney but this dragged out slightly as the boarding of the plane was delayed.

However once we were on our way, they assured us we would make up time.

We settled in and I did watched a movie, much to my own surprise, Bridget Jones baby!! Omg! Quite funny when traveling at altitude!

I snoozed a fair bit, trying to practice mindfulness which did help a bit!

With about 4 hrs to go I tuned in to watch Lion, such a brilliant movie, it had me spellbound!!

We arrived in Santiago in time with no hassle, paid of reciprocity fee and through immigration!! A shared taxi into town was the easy option dropping us at our hotel.

We showed and sorted our bearings, then went for a walk and enjoyed a few beers in some local bars.

We grabbed dinner also and despite feeling a little tired we have managed to make it through to 8pm! So it's still the 12th of March but our day has lasted a lot longer.

So far so good!! Very tires and I am not sure this blog even makes sense!!
